We are Dog Friendly!
Oak Mountain Winery is a dog friendly winery. Over the course of the year, Oak Mountain Winery is host to many dog themed events and animal fundraisers. The winery’s Windy Ridge label is dedicated to our four legged friends, with proceeds going to local animal non profit organizations. The tasting room is filled with pet themed giftware and treats for both dogs and their owners.
We allow well mannered, leashed dogs on the grounds and inside the tasting room. We ask that you please watch your dog at all times and be aware of your surroundings. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. Dogs must be current on their vaccines. Please pick up after your pet. Dogs will not be allowed in the Wine Caves at this time.
Oak Mountain Winery is also equine friendly. We offer a hitching post in our upper parking lot. Please pick up after your horse and be aware of vehicles
We have so many dogs visit us at Oak Mountain Winery that we dedicated an entire label to our furry friends. Our Windy Ridge Cellars label was created just for the dogs. Proceeds of sales from our Windy Ridge label and For Pete’s Sake wines, are donated to two local non profit groups. These groups assist diabetic animals and senior dogs from local area shelters. You can help the animals every time you purchase one of these wines.
Wine Country Dog Giftware
Your dog is more than welcome to join you in the tasting room and shop along side of you. Aside from the usual giftware that you would expect to find at a winery, we have also introduced a line of products catered directly toward you and your canine friend. The tasting room shelves are stocked with gourmet dog cookies, beer and wine inspired squeaky toys, dog and cat themed wine glasses, animal artwork, wine bottle candles, dog themed kitchen towels and much more! Portion of the proceeds go directly to the Animal Charities that we work so closely with.
Animal Events and Fundraisers
Oak Mountain Winery prides itself on being the most dog friendly winery in the valley. During the Dog Days of Summer, the winery will stay open late to provide our customers with dog themed events such as, “Doggie Date Night” or “Cruisers and Critters”. Various pet vendors and live music will be provided at no cost. Oak Mountain Winery is also host to “Woofs and Purrs in the Vines”, a 10 year tradition in Wine Country presented by Cause Fur Paws, Inc. a 501c3, non profit organization dedicated to helping animals with diabetes. All proceeds from that day going directly to CFP, Inc. Another annual event at Oak Mountain Winery is our Canine Carnival hosted by Animal Town Sanctuary, Inc. a non profit organization benefiting senior and special needs Siberian huskies right here in Wine Country. It’s always a furry fiesta at Oak Mountain Winery !
