Our estate Syrah vineyard lies at an altitude of 2,900 feet above sea level. With vines purchased from Tablas Creek Nursery and planted in 1999 these vines have matured and flourished on our steep, rocky soil terrain. On the palate, it displays ripe, intense, fruity flavors reminiscent of blackberries and black cherries. The jammy flavors married to the caramel overtones of the oak produce a very elegant and cellar worthy wine. Complex & full bodied. Syrah is the perfect match for any kind of meat or fowl and even spicy fare such as sausage or Cajun dishes. Great with a prime rib
